What is Jubito?

Jubito is a front-end implementation of the free and open source jaNET Framework for interconnection and interaction between hardware and software objects.
Jubito provides you with an intuitive platform that enables you to interconnect hardware and software objects, as well as publish your projects online. It can be used for interacting with Arduino devices and populating HTML5 pages with custom instructions, such as application launchers, event managers, schedulers and more. Furthermore, you can setup your Gmail connection settings or SMS gateway to receive notifications when you're away.
In other words, a hub for everything, a resolver to the Internet of Things.


What is the jaNET Framework?

jaNET Framework is a free and open source implementation that provides mechanisms for interoperability with built-in functions and native API, in order to create customized environments by manipulating hardware and software sources.


What is the difference between them?

jaNET is the engine, Jubito is the car, you are the driver.


How much does it cost?

Jubito is an implementation of open standards and FREE. That means developers and companies can use Jubito for applications that are free, commercial, open source, or any combination of these.


Why do I need Jubito?

With Jubito you can organize, link different projects and technologies and manage from one central point.


Can I use it without a microcontroller?

Yes, you can link software sources, create schedules and get notifications.


I don't own an arduino, can I use it with other microcontroller?

Yes, Jubito monitors serial port and send messages as well. It is also tested with Phidget Interface Kit 8/8/8.
